Whether you have just landed at Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport to start your vacation in the Portuguese capital city, or whether you are getting ready to fly home, you might find that you need to use some type of financial service while you are spending time at the airport.

Thankfully because it’s a major international hub, there are a number of options available for you at Lisbon Airport, including currency exchange, regular banking, ATMs and more.

But it’s also important to know that these banking choices and other services can only be found in Terminal 1. If your flight is departing from Terminal 2 but you need to use any of the financial services at the airport, the simplest solution is to take the free shuttle bus between the two buildings. Your total waiting time for one of these buses should be under 10 minutes.

Banking

The companies CTT and Santander both operate branches within Terminal 1 of the airport, and you can find ATMs for withdrawing cash either here or elsewhere in the building.

CTT not only offers some standard banking services but it can also help with you and postal needs that you might have. It is situated before the security checkpoint in the terminal and it is open from 9am until 6pm every Monday to Friday but closed on weekends and on holidays.

Santander is also located in the main terminal building before you get to the passport check ahead of the departures area, and it is open every Monday through Friday from 8.30am to 12pm and then again from 1pm to 3pm, while it is closed on holidays and on weekends.

Currency exchange

If you have Euros or other foreign currency that you would like to convert while you are at the airport, then look for one of the four Unicâmbio kiosks in order to achieve this task. All four kiosks can be found in Terminal 1, although their individual opening hours differ:

  • The kiosk located prior to security is open 5am to 1pm daily.
  • The kiosk located after security by Gate 15 is open 6am to 7pm daily.
  • The kiosk located after security in the terminal central plaza is open 5am to 12am daily.
  • The kiosk located after security by luggage collection is open 5am to 12am daily.
